Skip retinoids and active ingredients for 7 days prior. Avoid direct sun exposure beforehand. Arrive with clean, bare skin — no makeup. Dr. H's team walks you through everything else, and you'll receive a personalized prep sheet before your visit.
Does it hurt?
Most patients describe it as warm, prickling, and tolerable — kind of like a rubber band snap. It's quick, manageable, and over before you overthink it. Topical numbing is available for sensitive areas. Just ask.
How much downtime should I plan for?
